Introduction

The Copse is an exclusive private dining venue on the historic Raynham Estate, nestled among ancient woodland and open parkland. It offers seasonal menus showcasing the estate’s grass-fed Aberdeen Angus beef and ingredients from trusted local producers, celebrating the best of Norfolk’s countryside and cuisine.

When The Copse first contacted MCT, the site was seeking a ventilation system capable of handling the intense heat and smoke from their charcoal gas chargrill. Following an initial assessment, the project scope expanded into a full kitchen fit-out, with MCT managing the installation from start to finish. The completed works included stainless steel wall cladding, fire-rated UPVC wall cladding, Altro safety flooring, and a bespoke ventilation system, featuring a fabricated canopy, filter box system, and fresh air supply.

The result is a durable, efficient, and fully integrated kitchen environment, perfectly suited to the high standards of this exclusive private dining venue.
