Introduction
Holt Garden Centre is a family run business based in Holt, Kelling Estate. MCT was commissioned to design, plan and install a brand-new kitchen, including a main cook line, a small bakery for cakes and sandwiches, a pastry section and ware-washing area for the pot-wash.
Our brief was to design and create a kitchen that would cope with a busy café with 100+ seats, including a roast Sunday dinners. The kitchen had to be highly functional and easy to clean down at the end of each service.
We supplied and installed stainless steel cladding for the back wall of the electric cook line. In addition, we fabricated the stainless-steel extraction canopy and ductwork system positioned through the side of the building. Our engineers installed all the electric cooking equipment, fabricated tabling and shelving units, all to the chefs’ specifications.
