Project Case Study
No33 in the park

Design and Build
Introduction
Our brief was to plan, design and construct a brand new kitchen at the highly popular No 33 Cafe on the famous Chapelfield gardens site, formerly known as Pedros. Liaising closely with the owner Nichola Hay and the site manager, we were responsible for all aspects of the project delivery.
The client required a duplicate of the kitchen already in use at No33 Exchange Street, Norwich. The old kitchen was very run down and in need of a big efficiency update. The new open plan kitchen created by MCT has allowed the work area to be more productive and well suited to the catering needs to serve a restaurant that seats 80.
What we did
We supplied and installed white food grade plastic and stainless steel wall cladding as well as UPVC food grade ceiling cladding. We designed and fabricated a brand-new canopy and ductwork system for the cook line and supplied and installed the new cooking equipment as requested. A new ware washing area and pot wash area was created using fabricated tabling, shelving and a new dishwasher. The work was completed entirely by our in-house team.
